Abstract

The purpose of the study was to assess the adequacy of iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) investigations and The research sought to address the following three objectives. Firstly, to determine all the Standard Treatment Guidelines used for IDA management in the Namibian private healthcare system, followed by the critical appraisal of the level of adherence to the Standard Treatment Guidelines. Finally, this research also sought to establish all the iron profile laboratory tests offered in the private pathology health sector.
